Even though the battle re-enactment was rained out, many people still showed up to visit the historical site
and mingle with the many costumed characters of a bygone age. Live music, and a chance to actually see what the camps from both sides looked like were only part of a much larger experience. For Texans, just treading on such sacred ground is reward enough. |
