The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is the biggest and best rodeo in Texas (even if I do say so myself!). Not only do
spectators get to watch all of the stomach twisting hijinx of the bull and bronc riding, but they also get the benefit of great food, cool shopping, art displays, calf roping, animal displays (the smell is a bonus), carnival fun and the best that the brightest music stars have to offer. Rodeo regulars are George Strait, Reba McEntire, Brooks & Dunn, and several others. Many of the world's most famous musicians have graced the HLSR stage. Selena, Elvis, Julio Iglesias, The Jackson Five, ZZ Top, Sonny and Cher, Bon Jovi, Tim McGraw, L.L. Cool J, and Martina McBride are a few. |
